So when it comes to buying your new Blenheim home, you don’t have to put your dreams on hold.

An Overview of the Process

Our standard home-buying process involves seven steps, many of which are traditionally in person. But we’ve designed our virtual home-buying process to closely mirror our in-person process making sure that each stage still gives you the same level of care, attention, and most importantly, security as if you were sitting across from us in one of our sales centers. So whether you are relocating from across the country or just have a busy schedule where digital communication works better for you, we are ready to help you buy your next Blenheim home.

2. Get in touch!

Video Appointments, Chats, and Calls

Schedule an appointment with one of our sales team members, start a chat online or give us a call and leave a message, as we are still regularly monitoring our phone lines. We are set up to connect with you virtually every step of the way so if you need to see something, we can also schedule a personal and secure video conference with your sales representative.

3. Make your selections!

Review Floor Plan Features with Your Sales Rep

Review your floor plan features and complete a price-out on your selections with your sales representative. During this meeting, you will review all included and optional features for your new home. Start at home by exploring your floor plans interactive floor plan builder and designing your dream kitchen with our virtual visualizer tool. While the materials shown on the kitchen visualizer don’t represent all of our material options, they do show the most popular options so that you can have an idea of what you want before meeting with your sales rep.

This is an important phase in the home-buying process, as it becomes the basis for a total estimate of the cost of your home, which is important in securing a mortgage. We can also take a deposit on your preferred home site at this time.

4. Plan your visit.

Walk Your Home or Visit Similar Models

Absolutely need to see it in person? During the COVID-19 response, in-person appointments are available when made 24-hours in advance. Additionally, we can arrange for you to tour any of our furnished models independently. Contact your sales representative today to make it happen. Additionally, if you are relocating and can't physically get to one of our communities, we offer multiple virtual tours of our furnished models online.

All of our model homes have professional photography and virtual tours, giving you the ability to explore every nook, cranny and closet in your new space. Take a self-guided tour and see these homes from birds eye, doll house, and first-person views like never before. Just look for the "model home" banner on the Explore Our Homes page of your desired community.

5. Make it official.

Electronically Sign Purchase Agreement

Signing your purchase agreement is one of the easiest steps to transfer to the virtual realm. After you have finalized your selection of finishes and are ready to proceed, we will ask you to electronically sign your purchase agreement through a secure digital platform so that we can walk forward with the construction of your new home.

6. Secure your mortgage.

Get in Touch with Our Preferred Lenders

The final step in the virtual buying process is to formally apply for your mortgage. Don't have a broker? Get in touch with one of our preferred lenders and ask about special incentives.

Blenheim Homes partners with many of Delaware’s most highly reputed lending institutions, including Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, M&T Bank Mortgage Division, and RMS Residential Mortgage Services. Contact information for each of these lenders can be found on our website.

Closing Thoughts

At Blenheim Homes, we already had many of our virtual buying steps available, so we’ve built this process thoroughly and sustainably with our customers in mind. Additionally, we have been participating in virtual sales for a number of years so our process is vetted and reliable, not a fast and forced result of an unavoidable crisis. You can feel secure in our virtual home buying process, and if you have any questions, we’re just a call away.
